Bryce is also at a much higher altitude than Zion, at 9,000 feet (2,743 m). Bryce Canyon National Park is known for its breathtaking geological features, especially its hoodoos – tall spires of rock formed by erosion.

And while the park may be smaller than most US national parks, you can easily hike the six most epic hikes in the park within a day. As the next stop on this incredible national park itinerary, we’ll be heading to Yellowstone National Park.
