The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is housed aboard the decommissioned aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, docked on the Hudson River at Pier 86, and features historic aircraft, a Concorde, a Growler submarine, and the retired Space Shuttle Enterprise.
From April through October it’s open Monday-Friday 10am-5pm and weekends 10am-6pm; from November through March it runs daily 10am-5pm, with closures on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The museum sits at West 46th Street and 12th Avenue, an easy walk from Times Square and the Hudson River waterfront.
