Downtown Disney District is a free, outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment promenade at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, sitting between the resort’s two theme parks and its hotels. It opened in January 2001 and is open to the public without park admission.
The district’s shops include the Star Wars Trading Post, The LEGO Store, Sephora, and the Disney Dress Shop, alongside more than a dozen restaurants ranging from casual grab-and-go stands to sit-down spots like Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill and Salt & Straw.
Street performers, musicians, and occasional live concerts add to the atmosphere, making it a popular stop even for visitors not spending a day inside the parks.
