Residences at The Little Nell is a private residence club and rental collection at the foot of Aspen Mountain, a short walk from the Silver Queen Gondola on East Dean Street. Operated under The Little Nell, Aspen’s only true ski-in/ski-out five-star hotel, it pairs multi-bedroom apartment living with the hotel’s service. Families and groups book it for the space, and skiers choose it for the gondola-side location.
The multi-bedroom residences favor stone, wood, and fireplaces, with full kitchens and mountain-facing windows. The rooftop pool and hot tubs give guests open views of Aspen Mountain’s ski runs and the town grid below. A ski concierge handles boot warming and gear storage, so mornings start with a short walk to the lifts. Guests also have easy access to The Little Nell’s dining, including Element 47 and the après-ski terrace at Ajax Tavern next door.
Visitor Highlights & Practical Info
Aspen Mountain typically runs from late November to mid-April. The Christmas–New Year stretch and Presidents’ Day week bring the highest rates and the longest minimum stays, so book months ahead for those dates. Early December and late March offer better value and quieter slopes. Summer is a strong alternative, with gondola rides, hiking, and June’s Food & Wine Classic, while September brings golden aspens. Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is about four miles away. Once in town, free RFTA shuttles and walkable streets make a car optional.
