centralwOrld is Thailand’s largest shopping mall and among the biggest in the world, a seven-floor complex in Bangkok’s Ratchaprasong district housing more than 500 stores ranging from international designer brands to Thai fashion labels.
The mall is connected to a five-star hotel, a 15-screen cinema, an ice skating rink, and two Hindu shrines, and pairs a busy food court with upscale rooftop restaurants and the Central Food Hall. Families can visit the Genius Planet Zone and Thailand Knowledge Park, while a distinctive glass mobile of 3,500 glass balls decorates the shopping-street-style layout.
Most visitors spend 2 to 4 hours browsing the shops, eating, and catching a show, and the mall is easy to reach via the BTS Skytrain through covered walkways from the Siam and Chit Lom stations.
