CosmoCaixa is Barcelona’s main science museum, built around a striking sunken Flooded Forest exhibit that recreates a slice of the Amazon rainforest under a glass dome, alongside interactive exhibits on geology, physics, and the history of science.
It’s open daily, including holidays, from 10am to 8pm, with shorter hours (10am-6pm) on January 5, December 24, and December 31, and closures on January 1, 6, and December 25.
The museum sits in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district at Carrer d’Isaac Newton, 26, a short walk or bus ride from central Barcelona.
