Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall on the Mahadayi River, cascading roughly 320 meters (1,050 feet) inside the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary near Goa’s border with Karnataka.
The falls are one of India’s tallest and most photographed, reached by jeep safari from the Mollem sanctuary entrance or by a longer trek through the surrounding forest.
The sanctuary gate is open daily from 6 AM to 5 PM. A jeep safari half-day trip takes 4-5 hours; trekking takes 6-7 hours. The falls run fullest June through September, though access roads close during peak monsoon and reopen in October.
