Wynwood Walls is the world’s largest outdoor street art museum, a former warehouse district in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood that muralist and developer Tony Goldman transformed into an open-air gallery starting in 2009. Today the site spans roughly 80,000 square feet of walls covered in more than 35 rotating murals by internationally known artists such as Shepard Fairey, Os Gemeos, and Kenny Scharf, alongside two dedicated street art galleries.
Because the artwork rotates periodically, no two visits look the same, which is part of the draw for repeat visitors and photographers. The surrounding Wynwood Arts District has grown up around the Walls with galleries, breweries, and food halls, making it easy to combine a stop here with a longer afternoon of exploring.
Wynwood Walls is open daily from 10:30 AM to 6 PM; admission runs about $12 for adults with discounts for seniors and youth. Arrive shortly after opening on a weekday to beat the midday crowds and get the best light for photos, and bring sun protection since almost all of the art is outdoors.
