Hito Tres Fronteras marks the point on Argentina’s side of Puerto Iguazu where the Iguazu and Parana rivers meet, with clear views across the water to matching obelisks in Brazil and Paraguay — the only place on Earth where three countries converge like this.
Each country’s landmark is painted in its national colors, and the Argentine side includes viewpoints, an artisan crafts fair, and food stalls, with a nightly water-and-light show timed to sunset.
Most visitors spend 45 minutes to an hour and a half here. The site is free to enter and open daily from 8 AM to 5 PM, about a 15 to 20 minute walk from central Puerto Iguazu.
