Toby’s Supper Club is a family-owned Wisconsin supper club on Madison’s southeast side at 3717 S. Dutch Mill Road, just off the Beltline near the Interstate 90 corridor. It has operated for more than 50 years, and people come for the classic formula: steaks, seafood, and a strong cocktail in an unpretentious dining room (Checkle).
The menu sticks to supper club tradition. Expect steaks and prime rib, fish and seafood plates, and the Friday fish fry that draws regulars from across Dane County. The bar opens two hours before dinner service, and many guests arrive early for a brandy old fashioned, Wisconsin’s signature cocktail, before moving to a table. Daily specials fill out the dinner menu, and a kids’ menu makes it practical for multigenerational outings as well as date nights.
Visitor Highlights & Practical Info
The bar opens at 3 p.m. and dinner service starts at 5 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sundays. Reservations are accepted only Monday through Thursday, so weekend diners should arrive early or expect a wait at the bar (Toby’s Supper Club). For a quieter meal, plan a weeknight visit and book ahead. Call 608-222-6913 to reserve. The location is a short drive from the Beltline (Highway 12/18) and easy to reach from the airport or downtown Madison. A car or rideshare is the most practical way to get there.
