Parque Explora is Medellín’s interactive science museum and aquarium, recognizable by its four striking red cube-shaped pavilions. Inside, more than 300 hands-on exhibits cover physics, biology, neuroscience, technology, and more, making it a favorite for families and school groups.
The complex is home to South America’s largest freshwater aquarium, showcasing the biodiversity of Colombia’s rivers, along with a vivarium of frogs, snakes, and turtles, an outdoor dinosaur exhibit, a planetarium, and a 3D auditorium.
Visitors can also explore a small television studio and rotating exhibitions on subjects like music and storytelling, before grabbing a bite at the on-site restaurants and cafes or browsing the souvenir shop.
