The Jardín Botánico Joaquín Antonio Uribe is a free public garden in Medellín’s Aranjuez neighborhood, prized for its shaded walking paths, orchid displays, and a lake ringed by ceiba trees.
It’s open daily except Monday, with hours from roughly 9am to 4pm (Tuesday-Friday 9:30am-4pm; weekends and holidays 9am-4pm), and free guided tours run several times a week.
The garden sits beside the Explora science park and Parque Norte, making it easy to combine with other Aranjuez-area attractions during a morning or afternoon visit.
