Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort is a retro-styled, family-friendly hotel inside Universal Orlando Resort, themed after 1950s and 1960s beach motels and drive-in culture. It offers both standard rooms and family suites, two pools with a lazy river, a bowling alley, and complimentary shuttle service to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
Standard check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11am, with early check-in or late check-out sometimes available for an added cost depending on availability. As with most large resort hotels, there is no single “open” time; front desk and guest services operate around the clock for registered guests.
Its lower price point relative to Universal’s on-site “premier” hotels, combined with free shuttle access and Early Park Admission for some room types, makes it a popular pick for families visiting the parks.
