Jewel Changi Airport is a glass-domed complex attached to Singapore’s Changi Airport, built around the HSBC Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at 40 meters. Water pours through an oculus in the glass roof into the lush Shiseido Forest Valley below, and after dark the falls become the backdrop for a Light & Music Showcase performed several times nightly.
Above the waterfall, the Canopy Park spreads across roughly 14,000 square meters and includes the Topiary Walk and Petal Garden, a 50-meter Walking Net suspended 25 meters above the ground floor, four Discovery Slides, and Singapore’s largest hedge maze alongside a mirror maze. Viewing the Rain Vortex and Forest Valley is free; the Canopy Park attractions require separate paid tickets.
Jewel is connected directly to the airport terminals, making it an easy stop whether you’re catching a flight or simply visiting Singapore. The Rain Vortex light shows run every evening, with extra performances on Fridays through Sundays and public holidays.
