Parque Tres de Febrero, widely known as Bosques de Palermo, is a roughly 400-hectare urban park in Buenos Aires’ Palermo neighborhood. It’s built around several artificial lakes and groves of trees, and it functions as the city’s primary green escape for jogging, cycling, picnicking, and paddle boating.
The park’s best-known feature is El Rosedal, a rose garden with thousands of rose bushes arranged around a small lake and a Greek-style footbridge; it’s free to enter and keeps its own set of hours. A separate Japanese Garden within the park charges an entrance fee and offers a quieter, more curated landscape.
Weekends bring the biggest crowds, when locals fill the paths on bikes and rented paddle boats, so early mornings or weekdays offer a calmer visit.
