Top of the Rock is the observation deck atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, with three tiers on the 67th, 69th, and 70th floors rising 850 feet above the street.
The deck first opened in 1933 as part of the original Rockefeller Center complex, closed in 1986, and reopened in its current form in 2005; its open-air design offers unobstructed 360-degree views across Manhattan, including a clear look at the Empire State Building itself.
The deck is open daily from 8 AM to midnight (last entry 11:10 PM), and the on-site Weather Room bar and cafe serves food and drinks with a view.
