The Speicherstadt and Kontorhaus District with Chilehaus were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list on 5 July 2015. Whether you are a tourist with questions about your stay in Hamburg, a city planner or architect, or a student writing a thesis on the Speicherstadt, you will find a wealth of information at the World Heritage Info Point in the form of a permanent exhibition as well as partly antiquarian books, film clips and information material on the city’s current cultural offerings.
The World Heritage Info Point in the Chilehaus is run jointly by the Department of Culture and Media (Office for Monument Protection), the Department of the Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture and the Foundation of the Historical Museums of Hamburg.
