İBB Emirgan Grove is a roughly 117-acre park in Istanbul’s Sarıyer district, prized for its wooded hillsides, historic Ottoman-era pavilions, and views over the Bosphorus. It’s one of the largest green spaces on Istanbul’s European side.
The park is best known for its annual Tulip Festival each April and May, when more than 2.8 million tulips across roughly 190 varieties bloom across the grounds, part of an event Istanbul has run every spring since 2005. The Pink, Yellow, and White Pavilions, built during the Ottoman era, now operate as cafes overlooking two ponds within the park.
Beyond tulip season, Emirgan Grove offers walking and jogging paths, children’s playgrounds, and picnic areas, with the Emirgan waterfront and its restaurants and cafes just a short walk away.
