The Jardin d’Acclimatation is Paris’s oldest amusement park. It opened in 1860 under Napoleon III and covers 18 hectares on the northern edge of the Bois de Boulogne, next to the Fondation Louis Vuitton. Buying tickets online saves time at the gate. To get there, take Métro Line 1 to Les Sablons and walk about five minutes. You can pair the visit with an exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton or a walk around the Bois de Boulogne lakes.
