Tokyo Square Garden is a 24-story office tower in Kyobashi, Chuo City, with shops and restaurants on its lower floors. It connects directly to Kyobashi Station on the Ginza Line. Office workers and visitors come for its green terraces, its varied restaurants, and one of Tokyo’s largest outdoor-gear stores.
The building’s most distinctive feature is the “Kyobashi Hill,” a stepped series of planted terraces roughly 30 meters high and about 3,000 square meters in area (Tokyo Building Map). Greenery covers the building from B1F to 6F, with cherry blossoms in spring and hydrangeas in early summer (Central Tokyo for Tourism). Hikers and campers head to the mont-bell flagship, described as the brand’s largest store in Tokyo. The basement floors hold the dining options, which range from casual chicken restaurants to sit-down spots with terrace seating overlooking the Kyobashi streetscape (GLTJP). A clinic and a child-rearing support center also operate on site.
Visitor Highlights & Practical Info
Weekday lunch, from noon to 1 p.m., brings heavy crowds from the surrounding offices. Visit mid-afternoon or on Saturdays for easier seating. Many venues close earlier on Sundays and holidays. Tully’s Coffee, for example, opens 7:00–22:00 on weekdays but 10:00–18:00 on Sundays (official floor guide). Check the floor guide for individual store hours. Tokyo Station’s Yaesu side is a short walk away, and the Artizon Museum sits just across Chuo-dori, so the complex fits easily into a Ginza–Nihonbashi walking route.
