Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada sits at the base of the CN Tower and holds more than 20,000 marine animals across 50 exhibits, spanning roughly 12,500 square meters of tanks and walkways.
The signature experience is the Dangerous Lagoon, a 96-meter moving walkway that carries visitors through a glass tunnel beneath sand tiger sharks, sawfish, and giant sea turtles in North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel. Other highlights include Planet Jellies’ color-shifting LED tanks, the touch-friendly Ray Bay, and the Canadian Waters gallery tracing the country’s freshwater ecosystems coast to coast.
Weekday mornings are the quietest time to visit; plan for two to three hours to see the full aquarium.
