Brzezno Pier is a seaside promenade in Brzezno, one of Gdansk’s beach resort districts along the Baltic coast. First built in 1900 and extended to 250 meters during the interwar period, the pier was rebuilt after World War II and today stretches roughly 200 meters out over the water, ending in a small lighthouse.
It’s one of the most popular gathering spots for locals and visitors along the Gdansk waterfront, prized for its long sea views and, on a clear day, sightlines across the Tricity toward neighboring Sopot and Gdynia. The promenade around the pier is lined with cafes and ice cream stands, making it an easy stop before or after a swim at Brzezno Beach.
The pier is free to walk and open around the clock, so it works equally well as a sunrise stroll or an evening walk after dinner. It’s about a 20-minute tram ride from Gdansk’s Main Town, making it a manageable half-day trip paired with the beach.
