Chokhi Dhani is an ethnic village experience adjacent to the Chokhi Dhani Resort in Jaipur, built in 1989 to recreate a traditional Rajasthani village for visitors. Highlights include folk dance performances such as Kalbelia and Ghoomar, puppet and magic shows, camel, horse, and elephant rides, boat rides on the village’s small lake, free mehndi (henna) application, and a museum covering Rajasthan’s history through miniature displays. Local artisans also demonstrate traditional crafts and sell handicrafts on-site.
